Having a flashlight around for convenience has its ironic twist.  There are never any batteries in the device.  It has happened to everyone.  It makes little to no sense that a device used to see in the dark should have so many components.

A shake flashlight is preferable because it is so easy to operate.  Now that is true convenience.  Just leave it in a place that you know you can find it in a pinch and in an emergency, you will always have a shining light.

Survival in a BagEmergencies can occur anywhere – at home, the outdoors or in the car – and they could also occur while you are by yourself.  As is such, portability is an important feature of survival kits

A 1-Person Deluxe Emergency Backpack kit is available.  The kit contains ponchos, a food bar, a solar blanket, a flashlight (with batteries), a knife, an AM/FM radio (with batteries), water pouches, a first aid kit and a tent, among many other necessary supplies.  What’s also great about this particular item is that all the pieces are able to fit in a backpack, and for the low price of $60.50, no less.

This portable and easily accessible survival kit is a crucial bag to carry with you and makes a good  insurance policy for those unforeseen circumstances.

first aid kitsMost people usually forget about owning first aid kits, but it’s an extremely crucial item to have, as you never know when potential emergencies loom around the corner.  Advanced First Aid Supplies has a great, low-priced starter first aid kit.

For less than $20, the 134-piece Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) approved First Aid Kit has most of the supplies that are recommended by the American Red Cross, and then some.  This kit is not only workplace-ready, but it’s also ready for the home as well.  One hopes that the kid would be used rather infrequently, but it’s a pretty reliable and well thought out collection of safety items to have.
